About our guest

Chris Vinsonhaler is an assistant professor at the City University of New York (BMCC). She is also a professional storyteller and songwriter whose performance-based Beowulf translation was awarded a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and is forthcoming in 2019.

About the symposium

ASU's Beowulf Symposium invites campus and community members to participate in events aimed at showcasing medieval literature's relevance to modern society. All events are free of charge and open to the public.
