The Arizona State University Department of English Community Engagement Committee presents:
FALL FOOD DRIVE (United Food Bank): Monday, November 2nd – Friday, December 4th
TWO ways to donate:
1. Bring a check (payable to United Food Bank), or cash, to the Main Office (LL 542).
Every $1 provides 4 meals ($25 = 100 meals, $50 = 200 meals, etc.)
2. Bring food items to the Main Office (LL 542) or Writing Programs (LL 314)
Non-perishable items only, please. No glass containers.
*Meat & Meat Alternates: canned tuna, chicken & peanut butter
*Cereal: Cheerios ® , raisin bran, oatmeal packets
*Chili con Carne or Beef Stew
*Beans: pinto, kidney, refried
*Canned Vegetables: spinach, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots
*Milk: canned or dried
*Canned Tomato products: Incl. juice & sauces (No glass jars please)
*Rice & Pasta: brown rice, egg noodles, whole wheat pasta
United Food Bank is an East Valley community-based private nonprofit that provides hunger relief/food assistance by collecting, acquiring, storing and distributing food and related commodities through a network of partner social services agencies in our service area: eastern Maricopa County, Gila & Pinal Counties and southern Apache & Navajo Counties.
