English (Linguistics) (BA)
Accelerated Program

Undergraduate students can pursue BA degrees in English with concentrations in creative writing; linguistics; literature; secondary education; and writing, rhetorics and literacies. A bachelor's degree in English is also offered completely online.

Students in the linguistics concentration focus on study of the history and structure of language. Students have the opportunity to study with distinguished faculty actively engaged in scholarly research and gain practical experience through internships that prepare them for an ever-expanding variety of careers. The program also prepares students to continue their studies in graduate and professional programs.
