Biography

Earning a doctorate in linguistics from Louisiana State University in 2010, Danielle Alfandre has been with ASU since 2012, beginning as inagural faculty for the ASU Colleges at Lake Havasu City. There, she taught a variety of classes including First Year Composition, Writing for the Professions, UNI, and Sociology. After her transfer to Tempe, Alfandre teaches for the English Department.

She is also a very active member of campus, actively participating in a multitude of events and associations as well as leading an annual, faculty-directed study abroad to Costa Rica.

Incredibly passionate about helping students succeed, Alfandre enjoys the time she spends with students, especially first-year students, first-generation students, and at-risk populations.
