Operating out of the ENG 101/102: Indigenous Rhetoric at Arizona State University, and in partnership with Barrett Honors students, Project Communal Effort seeks to empower marginalized Indigenous people within the state of Arizona and nationwide. Several donation gatherings, fundraisers, and dispersal events are held year round to benefit Native American elderly, children, and families in need. During November--Native American Month--Project Communal Effort is collecting Native American-themed books to build a library for The Defenders of the Sacred Water School in Standing Rock, ND.

Donations may be dropped in English's Writing Programs Office (LL 312) or at the Office of American Indian Initiatives in Discovery Hall room 216.

The project is coordinated by Kyle Wilson, an Instructional Professional in the Department of English.
