Sun Devil Giving Day 2018

Sun Devil Giving Day logo

Every year thousands of loyal Sun Devil alumni, families, faculty, staff, students, and fans join together to support ASU as part of Sun Devil Giving Day, a 24-hour fundraising event.

The Department of English is participating in this University-wide event and we hope you can join us. When you give to English you become a partner in the academic success of our students through funding scholarships and helping bring top creative and research innovators to campus.

This year, we're highlighting the following funds and initiatives:

  • Department of English Fund: As you know, English has a new administrative home in the beautifully remodeled Ross-Blakley Hall on the Tempe campus. After "living" in the space for a while, we are seeking support for small-scale building enhancements to benefit teachers and students.
  • RED INK Indigenous Initiative: The RED INK Initiative is an interrelated set of campus, regional, national and international projects, including an international journal, to achieve its mission and goals in collaboration with Indigenous communities.

Whether you’re donating a couple dollars or a large sum, your gift is greatly appreciated. Any amount makes a world of difference for our students, faculty, staff, research and programs. Your charitable contributions enable the Department of English to achieve the highest standards of excellence, access and impact.

This Sun Devil Giving Day, on March 22, English can compete for participation rewards offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; units with the most dollars raised and the biggest increase in number of donors will receive additional funds from the college.
