Bio

Sheila Luna manages the PhD programs in Literature,
Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Writing, Rhetorics and
Literacies, English Education, and Applied Linguistics; the Master's
of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages; and the MA
programs in Literature, Linguistics, Writing, Rhetorics and
Literacies, and Comparative Literature. She also manages
two online graduate degree programs: MA in English and MAS in
American Media and Popular Culture.  
She coordinates admissions, advising, funding, recruitment,
curriculum development, and tracks alumni placements.  She
also assists with publicity for the graduate programs and writes and
edits articles for Accents on English, the department newsletter.

Sheila Luna focused on creative nonfiction writing during her
graduate studies and has published poetry and essays in various literary journals.
