English (Creative Writing) (BA)

Undergraduate students can pursue BA degrees in English with concentrations in creative writing, linguistics, literature, secondary education, and writing, rhetorics and literacies. A bachelor's degree in English is also offered completely online.

Students in the creative writing concentration study and practice the art of writing poetry and fiction. The distinguished faculty in the Department of English are actively engaged in creative writing and scholarly research. Students gain practical experience through research and internships that prepare them for an ever-expanding variety of careers. The undergraduate programs also prepare students to continue their studies in graduate and professional programs.
