Biography

Elizabeth Horan is a Professor in the Department of English, with a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Horan completed additional post-graduate study at the School of Information at the University of Michigan. Horan's primary research interests are US and Latin American Literatures, including biography, women and gender studies, and translation. She has developed and regularly teaches courses on Literature Nobel Laureates, Spy and Detective Fiction and Film, and in the intersections of Latin American and US Literature.
