Welcome to the 2012 Arizona State University Composition Conference website to be held on Saturday March 3, 2012, at the Tempe Campus. This conference is an excellent opportunity for those who teach composition to gather and exchange ideas and methods for improving classroom instruction.

The focus of Writing Programs Spring 2012 Convocation will be the "Framework for Success in Postsecondary Writing," a document which describes the skills and "habits of mind" needed to be a successful college writer. ASU Writing Programs will join English Education collegues and the ASU-Tempe Writing Center in celebrating the National Day on Writing on October 20.

Western States Rhetoric and Literacy Conference Oct 21-22

ASU Writing Programs is a sponsor of the 2012 Western States Rhetoric and Literacy Conference, which will be held on the ASU Tempe campus on Oct 21-22 at the ASU Memorial Union. The theme is "Places." There is no registration fee for this conference. for more information:

WP Fall 2011 Convocation August 15

Writing Programs Fall Convocation will be Monday, August 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Events begin with refreshments at 8:00 outside College of Design North (CDN) 60, with the general assembly convening at 8:30 in CDN 60.

National Day on Writing October 20, 2010

ASU Writing Programs will celebrate the National Day on Writing by inviting students, faculty, and staff to stop by our booth on Cady Mall to tell us how, when, and where "writing takes place."
