Scholarship Application Preparation Workshops
Professor Rosalynn Voaden will lead general workshops to assist students in preparing their applications for Department of English scholarships (for Sun Angel workshops, please see below).
Fall 2009 Workshops (students should come with the scholarship application material(s) and a draft of their personal statement or essay):

Sun Angel Foundation Undergraduate Research Award in the Humanities (research award). Deadline Nov. 12, 2009
Sun Angel Application Preparation Workshop: Department of English students are advised to attend a preparatory workshop before submitting an application for the Sun Angel Foundation Undergraduate Research Award in the Humanities. The workshop will assist them with finding faculty sponsors for their projects and with preparing their applications.
