Students
- To assist students, you may refer them to the Dean of Students (deanofstudents@asu.edu); the ASU Counseling Services and their Counseling Team. You may also contact Jess Early, Julia Himberg, or Krista Ratcliffe, and we'll make sure proper contacts are made. Writing Programs faculty also have the option of contacting Kyle Jensen.
Employees
- The Employee Assistance Office offers free and confidential counseling services for those in need of mental and emotional health support.
- The webpage provost.asu.edu/threats provides an overview of steps to take if you are experiencing threatening behavior and harassment.
- The Threat Assessment and Management Team supports those who are experiencing threats that impact their personal and professional safety.
Media
- To field media requests, you may refer them to ASU Media Relations (mediarelations@asu.edu). You may also contact our departmental Communications person Kristen Larue or Krista Ratcliffe, and we’ll forward the requests for you.
General
- The ASU LiveSafe app includes features to receive emergency notifications, request help in an emergency, arrange for a safety escort, and make anonymous reports to ASU Police.
- In an emergency you can contact the ASU Police Department by calling 911. For non-emergencies, you can contact them at (480) 965-3456.
