Graduate Advising

New Graduate Student Powerpoint Presentation

Graduate students should consult the relevant program directors on advising questions until they form a supervisory committee (also referred to as the thesis or dissertation committee), whereupon the committee chair becomes the student's chief source of advice.

The graduate coordinators, Sheila Luna and Karla Elling, can answer most questions and are a valuable source of information and advice on procedures and deadlines.

Please contact Sheila or Karla first when you have an advising question.
