Piper Center Event: Public Reading by Caitlin Horrocks, fiction writer

Sponsored by the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, ASU English Visiting Assistant Professor (and alumna) Caitlin Horrocks reads from her work. Horrocks' fiction has appeared in "The PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories 2009," "The Paris Review," "Tin House," "Prairie Schooner," "The Southern Review" and elsewhere. Her first collection of short stories, "This Is Not Your City," is forthcoming from Sarabande Books in 2011. Her work has been short-listed in "Best American Short Stories" and won awards from the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers' Conferences and the "Atlantic Monthly." She received her MFA from ASU in 2007.
